Established in 1989, Highfield Estate is owned by Shin Yokoi and Tom Tenuwera. Shin, a lover of fine wine, continues to steer this boutique winery on its endless pursuit of excellence.
Highfield produces ultra premium, food friendly wines for fine national and international restaurants and specialist wine stores. Highfield does not try to be everything to everyone but rather focuses on what it does best. The Highfield range consists of five wines; Elstree Cuvee Brut, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Talented Kiwi Winemaker, Alistair Soper makes Highfield’s classic Marlborough wines only when consistency of quality and style is possible. Limited production, defined styles and rigorous de-classification ensures the making of consistently high quality wines.
